Who Masturbates and Is It Safe

Who does masturbate?

There have been several studies about the kind of people that masturbate. The first important fact to note is that is it perfectly normal for humans to self pleasure. It has been found in virtually all societies through out the world. The National Health and Social Life Survey and other research conducted found that between 48-95% of people masturbate.

In the late 1940’s and early 1950’s Alfred Kinsey first published results of over 15 years of research in human sexual behavior. Kinsey studies reported that approximately 95% of males and 60% of females had masturbated.

The use of self-loving for personnel fulfillment also can be found in nature with many species of mammals including the chimpanzee through to dolphins have been scientifically recorded as have been masturbated. It seems that it is hard wired in to human DNA to feel the need to masturbate.

Are there any side effects?

There are sources out there that try and persuade people that masturbation is bad for you and that it can lead to serious health issues. There has been over the centuries many religious faiths that have made claims including that masturbation can lead to insanity.

There are no harmful side effects of masturbation. Modern medicine has been able to test and disprove all these accusations that have been made about the practice of masturbation being harmful.

Modern medicine debunks the myths that masturbation causes hair to grow on the palms, leads to insanity and that self loving will lead to poor health as it rids excessive energy from the body.

The only side effects that may arise are from one’s self. If a human feels guilty about self-loving then it can have an effect on their general health. The reason being that the negative thoughts produced by the guilt can effect one own mental health it has to be noted that one should not feel guilty because it is natural for humans to want to masturbate.

The American medical community pronounced masturbation to be natural in the 1972 publication Human Sexuality.

Masturbation refers to sexual stimulus, particularly of one's own genitals and often to the point of orgasm, which is performed manually, by other types of physical contact (except for sexual intercourse), by use of objects or equipment, or by some mixture of these methods.

Masturbation is normal and should be free to anyone who wants to do it without guilt. It is an everyday part of society and should be enjoyed and encouraged as part of your weekly routine.
